A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder. It is an extreme and irrational form of fear or anxiety triggered by a particular object, place, situation, feeling or animal. There are many different types of phobias such as:
Agoraphobia (fear of open or crowded space)
Acrophobia (fear of heights)
Trypophobia (fear of clusters of small holes or bumps)
Claustrophobia (fear of tight spaces)
Arachnophobia (fear of spiders or other arachnids)
Hydrophobia (fear of water)
